Patna: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will begin campaigning for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections on Thursday, attending nominations of two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates and addressing public rallies in Patna and Saharsa.
CM Yogi will kick off his campaign in Patna’s Danapur Assembly constituency, attending the nomination of BJP candidate Ramkripal Yadav before addressing a rally in support of the candidate. He will then travel to Saharsa to attend the nomination of BJP candidate Dr Alok Ranjan and speak at a public meeting at Patel Maidan. Following the events, the UP CM is expected to depart from Patna’s Jai Prakash Narayan Airport for Lucknow.
A prominent figure in national politics, CM Yogi is widely regarded as a star campaigner for the BJP, known for drawing large crowds and galvanising voter support across multiple states. His rallies are in high demand among candidates seeking to boost their campaigns, and his visit to Bihar reflects the party’s strategy of leveraging his popularity ahead of the elections.
