Patna: A young man narrowly escaped being shot during a robbery on Polo Road in Patna’s Airport police station area. The assailants fled the scene after opening fire, making away with the victim’s mobile phone and Rs 400 in cash.
The victim identified as Rahul, a private vehicle driver, was on his way to work around 8:30am when he was accosted. According to police, the attackers appeared to target him specifically, firing shots during the crime.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and have begun an investigation. CCTV footage from nearby cameras is being reviewed. City Superintendent of Police Diksha is questioning the victim as part of the inquiry.
