IIT Patna to Host First Inter-IIT Cultural Meet 7.0 in December
Patna: IIT Patna is set to host the Inter-IIT Cultural Meet 7.0 for the first time from December 26 to 29, 2024. This landmark event will bring together over 3,850 students from all 23 IITs across India, offering a platform to showcase artistic and cultural talents in 47 exciting events.
The meet, a significant annual celebration among IITs, highlights India’s diverse cultural landscape. This year’s edition will feature group dances, stage plays, fashion shows, battle of the bands, stand-up comedy, and more. Students from IITs such as Kharagpur, Bombay, Madras, Kanpur, Delhi, and Guwahati, among others, will participate in various competitions, making it a vibrant and dynamic gathering.
A dedicated organizing committee led by IIT Patna Director Professor T.N. Singh is overseeing preparations for the event. A recent meeting involving officials like Aedin SA, P.K. Tiwari, Sunil Kumar Singh, Udit Raj, and Ankit Kumar focused on ensuring the smooth execution of this cultural extravaganza. Professor Singh emphasized the importance of the event, stating that it is a proud moment for IIT Patna and an opportunity to create an unforgettable experience for all participants.
