Renuka Global School Marks Seventh Annual Function With Awards and Cultural Performances

Patna: Renuka Global School, Sarai branch, celebrated its seventh annual function with a vibrant display of academic and cultural excellence on March 9. Former RJD MLA and ex-chairman of the State Mahadalit Commission, Uday Manjhi, attended as the chief guest, felicitating top-performing students with medals and certificates. He praised the school’s efforts in providing holistic education to students in rural areas.

The event was inaugurated by Anand Kaushal, media expert from Bihar’s Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD), who highlighted the importance of a well-rounded education. “The students’ performances today reflect that this school not only focuses on academics but also nurtures excellence in other fields. Such schools in rural areas ensure success for students in all walks of life,” he said.

Recognizing Academic and Sports Achievements

The school recognized its top-performing students in the final examinations, celebrating their academic excellence. In the Kids & Junior Section, Astik secured the top position, followed by Pari in second place and Riya in third. In the Primary Section, Arif emerged as the topper, with Siddhi and Anushka securing the second and third positions, respectively. Among class-wise achievers, outstanding students included Astik, Srishti, and Inayat from Play & Nursery; Riya, Himanshu, and Shanu from LKG; and Pari, Aniket, and Paridhi from UKG. For Classes 1 to 7, notable performers included Alisha, Rakhi, and Krishna; Suraj and Aryan; Siddhi and Richa; Arif and Anushka; Navya and Riya; as well as Akanksha and Tanu.

The school also honored students excelling in sports competitions. Ankit, Vineet, and Shaurit claimed first place, while Suraj and Navya secured second place. Himanshu and Richa finished in third place, highlighting the students’ athletic achievements alongside their academic success.

Cultural Showcases and Special Felicitations

The audience was treated to an array of performances, including dance routines on songs like Maine Payal Hai Chhankai and I Love My India, with standout acts by Palak, Inayat, and Akanksha. Musical performances by Brij Bihari Prasad and Sourav Jaipuriyar further enriched the evening.

The school also honored its teachers for their contributions, with Brij Bihari Prasad presenting awards to educators such as Nibha and Jyoti.

Principal Sandeep Ranjan welcomed guests, while Mukesh Sinha, president of Sarai PACS, and ward member Mohammad Sahil were among the distinguished attendees. The event’s success was credited to organizers including Sanjeev Kumar Sinha, with Vishwas Sinha and Gulshan hosting the proceedings.
