
Trophies, certificates, and big smiles as winners are felicitated by key officials at Munger Division Finals
Munger/Patna: The Munger Division Final of Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2024, Bihar’s flagship inter-school sports knowledge competition, concluded on Tuesday with a spirited display of intellect and teamwork, as Raja Babu and Aman Kumar from B.P.S. High School, Birpur, Begusarai, secured the top spot.
Organised by the Bihar State Sports Authority (BSSA), the event brought together student teams from across the districts of Munger, Lakhisarai, Jamui, Sheikhpura, Begusarai, and Khagaria. The competition began with a written round, from which six top-scoring teams advanced to an engaging multimedia quiz on stage.
Pratik Arya and Arpit Raj of Adarsh Gyanasthali, Sheikhpura, took the first runner-up position, while Priyanshu Raj and Manish Kumar from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui, were named second runners-up.

The final was marked by lively participation and an enthusiastic audience, with senior officials from the administration in attendance. Among them were Munger District Magistrate Avaneesh Kumar Singh and Deputy Development Commissioner Ajit Kumar Singh, along with other district-level officers from education and sports departments.
Winners of the earlier online round from each district were also felicitated during the ceremony, receiving trophies and certificates for their individual performances.
Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav aims to integrate learning with sports awareness, fostering a culture of healthy competition and sporting curiosity among school students across Bihar. The next divisional final will be held in Saharsa (Kosi Division) on Wednesday.
