‘नहीं चलेंगे चाचा नीतीश’: Congress Launches Poster Offensive Against Bihar CM Amid Rising Political Heat

Patna : As Bihar gears up for the upcoming assembly elections, political tensions continue to escalate, with parties trading jabs through poster campaigns across the state. In the latest development, the Congress has taken aim at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, launching a poster campaign in Patna accusing his government of presiding over rising crime, unemployment, and migration.

The posters, which have appeared in various parts of the city, feature an image of the CM alongside the bold slogan: “‘देख लिया है 20 साल, नहीं चलेंगे चचा नीतीश।” The messaging appears to target Nitish Kumar’s decades-long political tenure, questioning the effectiveness of his leadership.

The posters also highlight concerns about corruption and women’s safety, issues that have become focal points in the opposition’s criticism of the ruling administration. At the bottom of the posters, the Bihar Pradesh Youth Congress is named as the issuing body.

The move comes a day after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a poster campaign targeting the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), featuring images of three RJD MLAs—Ritlal Yadav, Manoj Yadav, and Shambhu Nath Yadav of Buxar. The BJP alleged the legislators were absconding and claimed the poster was a warning of what might unfold if the RJD returned to power.
