JDU Leader Demands Police Protection
According to the information, Singh, who is also a property dealer, had returned home after attending a reception. After parking his bullet motorcycle inside, he was talking to two acquaintances in the hall when the miscreants fired from outside. Singh and his companions immediately took cover and rushed to the roof for safety. From there, they saw the two assailants speeding away on their bike.
Local residents informed Singh that two suspicious youths had been seen doing rounds near his house for nearly an hour before the attack, suggesting that a recce had been conducted prior to the firing.
Singh suspects that the motive behind the attack could be linked to social rivalry, although he claimed he had no direct confrontation with anyone recently. He has requested police protection, citing security concerns.
