
Sitamarhi: A 25-year-old man from Bihar’s Sitamarhi district has died in a road accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, police said on Sunday.
The victim identified as Vikrant Tiwari – also known as Bikki – hailed from Ukhra village in the Bokhara police station area. He had been travelling back from Delhi along with four colleagues when their car collided with a truck near the Karhal police station area on Saturday morning.
According to family members, Tiwari had left for Delhi four days earlier on a business trip related to his work in steel design. He was accompanied by four others from Muzaffarpur, including the driver, Akhtar.
Both Tiwari and Akhtar were killed on the spot. The three other passengers sustained serious injuries and were admitted to Safai Medical College for treatment. Tiwari’s elder brother, Aman, said the family expects to bring his body home by late Sunday. Vikrant was the youngest of three brothers.
