Patna: Nishit Kumar Ujjwal, Inspector General of Frontier Headquarters Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Patna, conducted an official visit to the Integrated Check Post (ICP) Raxaul and the Maitri Bridge along the Indo-Nepal border last week.
During his visit, Ujjwal held meetings with officers from the Consulate, SSB, and ICP to review operational activities and strengthen inter-agency coordination. He interacted with SSB personnel deployed at the border, taking stock of their preparedness and morale.
The IG also inspected ongoing development and construction works across various SSB units along the Indo-Nepal border. The visit aimed at expediting infrastructure development to facilitate smoother cross-border movement while ensuring robust security arrangements.
Officials said the visit underscored the SSB’s focus on enhancing security mechanisms and upgrading essential facilities along India’s open border with Nepal.
