Patna: Traffic restrictions have been imposed in Patna around the ISKCON temple for Krishna Janmashtami celebrations, with diversions in place to manage the expected surge of devotees.
Police said vehicles will not be allowed to move from GPO Golambhar or Adalat Ganj towards the temple, and entry from Kotwali T Point will also be closed after 2 pm. Alternative routes have been suggested for commuters.
To ensure smooth movement and safety, barricades and bamboo fencing have been set up to regulate entry into the temple premises. Around 100 police personnel, along with additional reinforcements from the police line, have been deployed to maintain order.
A control room has also been established near the temple to coordinate security and traffic management during the celebrations.
