Patna: Patna will host the Doctor Premiere League (DPL), a sports-led wellness initiative dedicated to medical professionals, aimed at promoting physical fitness, mental refreshment, and work-life balance among doctors while celebrating their contribution to society. The league has been initiated by Abhiyukt Infra Developers, which framed the event as a tribute to doctors—the “foundation of a healthy community”—drawing a parallel with the company’s own emphasis on strong foundations in construction.
Organizers said the DPL is designed to help doctors step away from demanding clinical schedules, bond with peers, and recharge through structured sporting engagements that foster resilience, camaraderie, and teamwork. Beyond competition, the program seeks to address physician well-being through regular activity, stress relief, and community-building—areas often sidelined in the medical profession’s high-pressure environment.
Abhiyukt Infra Developers stated that the league underscores a broader social message: those who care for others also need systems of care. By spotlighting doctors’ health and morale, the DPL aligns with the vision of a “Viksit Bharat,” positioning clinician wellness as a pillar of a stronger, healthier India. Event details on format, disciplines, schedules, and participating teams are expected to be released in due course.
