Patna: Priyanka Gandhi will join her brother Rahul Gandhi in Bihar on Tuesday as part of his ongoing Voter Adhikar Yatra, marking her first appearance in the campaign that has been moving through districts since August 17. She is expected to accompany him from Supaul to Muzaffarpur over two days, alongside opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav.
The Supaul leg of the Yatra will begin at 8 am from Hussain Chowk and cover around four kilometres before concluding at Degree College. Rahul Gandhi will arrive at the district headquarters by helicopter before travelling by road to the starting point.
In preparation for the high-profile visit, city streets have been filled with banners and posters by members of the Grand Alliance, while security forces have been deployed in large numbers. District officials have been conducting drills for the past week to ensure law and order is maintained.
