Patna: The last full lunar eclipse of 2025 will occur on September 7, coinciding with Bhadrapada Purnima and the beginning of Pitru Paksha, according to astrologers. The eclipse will be visible across India, and traditional observances, including the Sutak period, are expected to be followed strictly. During this time, worship, travel, and the initiation of new work are generally discouraged.
Astrologer said the eclipse, which falls in the sign of Aquarius, could affect mental health, family relationships, and overall well-being. “People born under Aquarius, Cancer, Virgo, and Pisces should exercise particular caution,” he advised. “It is a time for restraint, sadhana, and meditation.”
According to calculations, the eclipse will begin at 9:58 pm and conclude at 1:26 pm the following day. During the event, the moon’s energy is considered weakened, which astrologers say can lead to stress, health issues, and discord in personal relationships.
For Cancerians, the eclipse may challenge mental balance, with health and family relations requiring special attention. Virgos may face difficulties in the areas of finance, health, and decision-making, as the eclipse affects their sixth house. Aquarians are likely to experience both health-related issues and tension in close relationships, while Pisces may feel a sense of loss, along with increased expenses and family stress.
Experts suggested meditation, yoga, and pranayama as ways to maintain mental peace during the eclipse. “Avoid travel, new work, or investment,” he said, adding that caution and restraint can help mitigate its negative effects.
Astrologers emphasise that, from both religious and astrological perspectives, the September 7 eclipse is significant. They advise people to remain mindful of their mental, financial, and family well-being to reduce potential disruptions.
