Patna: The Department of Business Administration at Patna Women’s College organised a Student Development Programme on 29 August 2025. The event was centred on the theme of “Mental Well-Being and Stress Management” and was hosted at the Mother Veronica Excellence and Innovation Centre in the Science Block. It was conducted in association with Kaizen: Commerce and Management Club.
To make the session more engaging, the college collaborated with Cross Fit Studio, which introduced activities such as Zumba and gymnastics. These exercises were designed not just for fitness but also to help students relax and release stress. By blending physical activity with fun, the workshop gave participants a practical experience of how exercise can improve mental well-being.
The students took part with great enthusiasm under the guidance of their Head of Department, Dr Pallawi Ambreesh Kumar. Faculty members Ms Kumari Priya, Dr Ruchita Masih and Dr Kumari Soni were also present and encouraged students throughout the session. Teachers said that such workshops provide students with important tools to balance academic pressure and personal wellness.
The programme was interactive from start to finish, giving students a chance to learn in a stress-free environment. Many participants said they enjoyed the unique approach to stress management and felt more aware of how physical activity can contribute to mental health. The department plans to continue holding such events so that students not only excel in academics but also learn to take care of their overall well-being.
