Bihar to Receive Four More Vande Bharat Trains, Two from Patna: Travel Time Halved to 5-6 Hours

Patna: In a significant development for rail connectivity in Bihar, the Vande Bharat train is set to extend its services beyond Patna, reaching various districts, including several in the Seemanchal region. Previously, this high-speed train was exclusive to Patna, but now it is extending its reach to key junctions like Begusarai, Kishanganj, Katihar, Navgachia, Khagaria, Mokama, and Bakhtiyarpur.

The expanded route of the Vande Bharat train promises improved accessibility for residents across these districts. Commencing its journey from New Jalpaiguri at 05:15 am, the train will make its first stop at Kishanganj by 06:15 am. After a brief halt, it will proceed to Katihar at 6:17 pm, reaching its destination by 7:45 am. The departure from Katihar is scheduled for 07:50 am.

Traversing through stations such as Navgachia, Khagaria, Begusarai, Mokama, and Bakhtiyarpur, the Vande Bharat train is anticipated to arrive in Patna around 12:10 pm.

The departure from Patna is scheduled for 01:00 pm, with the train returning to Katihar at 05:35 pm. The final leg of the journey involves a 05:40 pm departure from Katihar, culminating in the train’s arrival at New Jalpaiguri at 8:00 pm.

It is important to note that the officially confirmed timings for this train are yet to be released, and adjustments may be made to the schedule.
