Patna: Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited (BSPHCL) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) to train newly recruited and existing engineers over the next five years.
The MoU was formalised by Ram Anugrah Narayan Singh, General Manager of Human Resources and Administration at BSPHCL, and Praveen Agarwal, Head of HR and IR at TPDDL.
The training programme will cover areas such as power distribution management, the latest technology, safety standards and consumer services. Officials said this initiative is designed to strengthen the state’s power supply network and make it more efficient.
Energy Secretary and BSPHCL CMD Manoj Kumar Singh, present at the signing, said the agreement represents a crucial step towards modernising Bihar’s power sector and raising its technical standards.
