Patna: In a first-of-its-kind initiative, minority students in Bihar will receive free coaching for competitive exams like JEE and NEET at Haj Bhawan. The program, organized by the Minority Welfare Department, will be offered in both online and offline modes.
According to officials, applications for admission to the coaching program can be submitted until September 21 through the official website hajbhawancoaching.bihar.gov.in, where the application form and admit cards are also available. Admit cards can be downloaded until September 22.
Admission Test Schedule
- Online coaching entrance tests: September 24, 27, and 29; results on September 30.
- Offline coaching entrance test: September 24; results on September 26.
While there is no limit on the number of students for online coaching, only 75 students will be admitted for offline coaching at Haj Bhawan. Classes will begin on October 1, with separate batches for boys and girls.
Facilities for Students
Rashid Hussain, associated with the Bihar Haj Committee Coaching and Guidance, said online coaching will be free for all qualified candidates. For those staying at Haj Bhawan, only food charges will apply, while coaching itself will remain free.
This initiative marks a significant step by the Minority Welfare Department to support students preparing for competitive exams, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds.
