Rohtas: Tutla Bhawani, one of the most visited religious and natural spots in Rohtas district, is going to be completely renovated. The Bihar government has approved a project worth Rs 12 crore to improve the temple and the surrounding area. Forest Minister Dr Sunil Kumar laid the foundation stone on Sunday to officially start the work.
The temple is not just a place of worship but also a tourist attraction because of its natural beauty. Every year, thousands of devotees and tourists come here. But many visitors have faced problems because of poor roads, lack of toilets, and very few facilities. The government project is meant to solve all these issues and give the temple a fresh new look.
As part of the plan, the road leading to the temple will be repaired and strengthened so that devotees can reach the temple easily. CCTV cameras will be installed for better security. New toilets and changing rooms will be built for the convenience of visitors. A special 100-metre-long walkway bridge will also be constructed so that people can have a safe and easy path to the temple.
The project will also include the construction of a grand new main gate and a modern entrance to welcome visitors. To save energy and protect the environment, a solar power system will be installed. The government will also build small shops nearby where visitors can buy essential items. These shops will help local people earn a living and boost the local economy.
Officials believe that when the project is complete, more tourists and devotees will come to visit Tutla Bhawani. This will not only make the temple more popular but will also create jobs and business opportunities for local residents. The plan is to make Tutla Bhawani a well-known religious and natural tourist destination in Bihar.
