Patna: As festival travel peaks, Indian Railways has announced a series of measures to ensure passengers’ safety and streamline operations at stations nationwide. The initiatives aim to reduce accidents during boarding and deboarding, while providing railway staff and security personnel with easier crowd control.
Passenger amenities, including drinking water, restrooms, and waiting areas, will be regulated to guarantee orderly use. Safety standards for train operations will be strictly enforced throughout the festival period.
Only passengers holding valid reserved or general tickets will be allowed entry into station premises during this time. The railway administration has urged travelers to adhere to all safety and travel guidelines to ensure a smooth and secure journey.
