Patna: Prof T N Singh, the Director of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna, has been honoured with the prestigious Vishisht Shikshak Award 2025. The award was presented during the 8th Annual Conclave of the Federation of World Academics, held in New Delhi on 3 November 2025.
The honour was presented by Padma Vibhushan Dr Murli Manohar Joshi, former Union Minister of Human Resource Development. The award recognises Prof Singh’s exceptional contribution to higher education, research, and innovation. His leadership has helped shape IIT Patna into one of the leading institutions of learning and research in India.
Under Prof Singh’s guidance, IIT Patna has made significant progress in promoting interdisciplinary research and innovation-driven education.
