Patna: With both phases of Bihar Assembly Election 2025 completed, political tensions are mounting as exit polls indicate a possible NDA government in the state. However, the opposition Mahagathbandhan has dismissed these projections, urging caution until the official results are announced.
The voter turnout this year reached a record-breaking 67 percent, with women voters playing a decisive role across constituencies. Barring a few minor incidents, polling across the state was peaceful and well-managed.
Reacting sharply to the exit poll trends, RJD leader Manoj Kumar Jha took a dig at the NDA. “In 2015, they had burst crackers too. But once the results came out, all those crackers ended up being sent to us,” he remarked, recalling the earlier election where the RJD-led alliance had stunned the NDA despite confident forecasts.
keeping a close watch on last-minute strategies. While NDA leaders have begun signalling victory, the RJD camp remains confident, calling the exit polls “misleading” and “premature.”
