Party leaders and workers offered floral tributes before Vajpayee’s portrait and pledged to follow the values he championed. The event also featured an exhibition highlighting Vajpayee’s political journey, public service, and contributions to India’s development.
Newly elected MLA Sujit Paswan, who attended as the chief guest, described Vajpayee’s role in shaping modern India as “immeasurable”, adding that his vision and leadership “continue to inspire the nation’s political conscience”. Legislative council member Ghanshyam Thakur called Vajpayee a statesman who brought dignity and purpose to public life, stating that he connected ideology to the service of the nation.
District president Jha said Vajpayee’s conciliatory tone and commitment to inclusive leadership earned him respect across party lines. BJP state working committee member Devendra Kumar Yadav noted that contemporary India is still guided by the aspirations and ideals that Vajpayee articulated.
The event was attended by district officials, local representatives, and members of affiliated wings, including the Mahila Morcha and the IT Cell. Proceedings concluded with participants resolving to adopt Vajpayee’s ideals as part of their political and social work.
