Lucknow: Bhojpuri cinema’s popular actor Pawan Singh has shifted from Bihar to Lucknow and began the New Year with a traditional griha pravesh ceremony at his new residence. The actor entered his new luxury home in Lucknow along with his mother, following religious rituals, amid heightened security arrangements.
Before entering the house, Pawan Singh visited the temple within the housing society and offered prayers with his mother. The ceremony was performed as per rituals, after which the actor formally entered the new home. An armed security staff was also present during the event.
Pawan Singh shared a video of the puja with his mother on Instagram. In the post, he conveyed New Year wishes, writing that he hopes the entire Bhojpuri community and the country continue to remain happy. The video has since been widely shared by his fans on social media.
Security Tightened After Threat Call
The move to Lucknow comes weeks after Pawan Singh reportedly received a threat call on December 14 from an unknown number. The caller allegedly claimed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and warned the actor against sharing a stage with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Following the incident, security around Pawan Singh was strengthened by the administration. The actor marked the beginning of the New Year from Lucknow under these arrangements.
Property Details and Net Worth
Pawan Singh’s new residence is located in the upscale Sushant Golf City area of Lucknow. According to his affidavit, the actor’s total assets are valued at over ₹16.75 crore. His real estate holdings include four flats in Mumbai, ancestral property in Ara in Bihar, and property in Patna. His family currently resides together at the Ara house, where the actor often visits.
Previous Controversy at the Same Lucknow Flat
The Lucknow flat had earlier drawn attention in October following a controversy involving Pawan Singh’s wife, Jyoti Singh. On October 5, Jyoti Singh had reached the Lucknow residence to meet the actor, and the two reportedly interacted for nearly one-and-a-half hours. After the meeting, Pawan Singh left the premises, while Jyoti Singh stayed back.
Subsequently, police arrived at the flat, following which a commotion was reported. Jyoti Singh was taken by the police and later released. During the incident, she shared an emotional video on social media, alleging harassment and expressing distress over the situation. Earlier, on October 3, she had also posted on social media that she was coming to Lucknow to meet Pawan Singh.
Meanwhile, videos and images from Pawan Singh’s griha pravesh ceremony continue to circulate online, drawing significant attention from fans across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
