Patna: Dry weather conditions continue across Bihar due to the influence of westerly winds, with most parts of the state witnessing partly cloudy skies and a mild chill during morning and evening hours. According to the Meteorological Centre in Patna, no significant change in temperature is expected over the next two days. Wind speeds are likely to range between 30 and 40 kmph.
The weather office said a cyclonic circulation over the southeast Bay of Bengal is maintaining moisture levels in the atmosphere, leading to partial cloud cover at some locations.
On Sunday, the lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 10.3 degrees Celsius in Kishanganj, while Patna registered a minimum of 14.8 degrees Celsius. Purnea reported the lowest visibility at 1,200 metres.
