Patna: Patna Women’s College successfully conducted its Student Council Elections for the academic year 2026–27, attracting enthusiastic participation from students. The event, held at the Open Air Stage Hall, aimed to foster leadership, responsibility, and democratic values among the college community.
Voting began at 9:30 a.m., with fourth-semester students casting ballots for five key posts: Premier, General Secretary, Cultural Secretary, Sports Secretary, and Environment & Discipline Secretary. A total of 18 candidates from various departments contested the positions, reflecting a diverse pool of talent and ideas.
The counting process, which started at 11:30 a.m., was supervised by a distinguished panel of faculty members, including Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Dr. Vinita Priyedarshi, Dr. Sister Nelsa A.C., Dr. Manjula Sushila, Ms. Prachi Raj, Ms. Fiza Darakshan, Mr. Adweetiya Sinha, Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas, Ms. Puja Kumari, and Ms. Shalini. Each candidate was allowed to monitor the process, ensuring complete transparency and fairness.
After meticulous counting, the results were announced over the campus speakers, sparking excitement and celebration among students. The event highlighted the college’s ongoing commitment to nurturing leadership, civic responsibility, and the democratic spirit among its students.
