Sonepur/Patna: Bihar chief minister Samrat Choudhary visited the Baba Hariharnath Temple on Friday, where he performed rituals and offered prayers for the peace, prosperity and development of the state.
The chief minister carried out the jalabhishek amid Vedic chants, with temple priests conducting the ceremony in accordance with traditional practices.

Tight security arrangements were put in place across the temple premises ahead of the visit, with local authorities maintaining high alert. A large number of devotees gathered at the site, with many greeting the chief minister during his visit.
Choudhary was received at the temple by Vaibhav Srivastava, district magistrate of Saran, along with other officials.

During the visit, the chief minister was accorded a guard of honour. He also acknowledged supporters and devotees present outside the temple premises.
Speaking after the prayers, Choudhary said he prayed for the continued happiness and development of Bihar, expressing hope that the state would progress with the blessings of Baba Hariharnath.
The visit drew significant local interest, with both devotees and supporters turning up in large numbers to witness the chief minister’s presence at the temple.
