Patna: Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) has been chosen as one of 10 nodal institutions in India to host Phase II of the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp for PM SHRI Schools. CIMP is the only institution from Bihar selected for this prestigious program. The bootcamp will take place on September 11 and 12 at the CIMP campus, with Raj Kumar, Managing Director of COMFED, inaugurating the event.
Organized by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, AICTE, and Wadhwani Institution, the bootcamp will involve around 90 students and 90 teachers from 90 PM SHRI Schools nationwide. The IDE Bootcamp aims to develop innovative thinking among students and educators by encouraging creative problem-solving, prototype development, and entrepreneurial mindset building. Teachers and principals will also be trained to mentor young innovators, ensuring long-term support for students’ entrepreneurial journeys.
Prof. Dr. Rana Singh, Director of CIMP, emphasized the significance of the event, saying, “Hosting this bootcamp aligns with our vision of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in education, empowering future leaders to think creatively.”
The first phase of the IDE Bootcamp took place on September 4 and 5 at five institutions across the country. This second phase at CIMP will continue the momentum, aiming to shape the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs.
