Patna: Patna witnessed an emotional gathering on Monday as senior BJP leaders, party workers and local residents came together to remember late BJP leader and former Patna West MLA Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha on his 77th birth anniversary. The tribute programme was organised at Nabin Sinha Park in Shastri Nagar, where his son and BJP national president Nitin Nabin offered floral tributes at his father’s statue. The event saw the presence of many political leaders, social workers, ward councillors and citizens who gathered to pay respect to a leader remembered for his close connection with ordinary people.
Speaking during the programme, Nitin Nabin became emotional while remembering his father’s life and work. He said Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha dedicated his entire life to public welfare, social service and strengthening the BJP organisation in Bihar. According to him, his father always treated politics as a way to help people rather than a path to power. He recalled how Nabin Sinha remained available to the public at all times and worked continuously to solve the problems faced by common citizens. Nitin Nabin said the lessons and values given by his father still guide him in both his political and personal life.
Leaders present at the ceremony also remembered the contribution of Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha in developing the Patna West region and expanding the BJP’s grassroots network. Many speakers described him as a simple, hardworking and approachable leader who earned the trust of people across all sections of society. BJP MLA from Digha, Sanjeev Chaurasia, along with several party workers and local representatives, recalled how Nabin Sinha played a major role in strengthening the party organisation during difficult political times in Bihar. Even years after his passing, many people still remember him with deep respect and admiration.
The tribute event ended with party workers and supporters taking a pledge to continue working for society by following the path shown by Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha. Leaders said the true tribute to him would be to continue serving people honestly and selflessly. Throughout the programme, people shared memories of his dedication, humility and commitment to public welfare, qualities that they believe made him one of the most respected political figures in Patna’s history.
