Patna: The Government of Bihar on Wednesday announced the launch of “Brand Bihar”, a new initiative aimed at reshaping the state’s public image and promoting Bihar as a destination for investment, innovation and economic opportunity.
The programme has been established under the Chief Secretary’s Cell and will focus on building a cohesive long-term identity for Bihar through coordinated branding, communication and strategic positioning efforts.

The government added that structured mechanisms for periodic updates, inter-departmental coordination and knowledge-sharing would be developed to ensure consistency in communication and outreach efforts.
‘Not Merely A Communication Initiative’
In a statement issued during the launch, the leadership behind the initiative described “Brand Bihar” as more than a conventional public relations exercise.
Officials said the programme was envisioned as a long-term effort aimed at aligning development, identity, investment and citizen participation into a unified vision for Bihar.
The initiative, they added, seeks to build a “future-ready identity” for the state by ensuring that Bihar’s achievements, opportunities and transformation are documented and communicated in a structured and impactful manner.
