Patna: National Institute of Fashion Technology Patna (NIFT Patna) organised its Graduation Showcase 2026 on Friday, presenting the academic projects and creative work of graduating students across multiple design and fashion disciplines.
The event, held at the institute’s campus, celebrated the achievements of the graduating Class of 2026 and highlighted student work spanning fashion, textiles, communication, technology and management.
Shreyasi Singh Attends as Chief Guest
The showcase was attended by Bihar Industries and Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh as chief guest.
Addressing students during the event, Singh praised the creativity, innovation and industry-oriented learning reflected in the projects displayed by the graduating batch. She also encouraged students to contribute towards the growth of India’s fashion and creative industries.
Projects Displayed Across Multiple Departments
According to institute officials, the showcase featured work by 179 graduating students from departments including:
- Fashion Design (FD)
- Textile Design (TD)
- Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories (F&LA)
- Fashion Communication (FC)
- Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech)
- Fashion Management Studies (FMS)
The exhibitions highlighted students’:
- Design sensibilities
- Technical skills
- Industry exposure
- Creative and research-based projects
developed during their academic programmes at NIFT Patna.
Event Held Under Director Rahul Sharma’s Leadership
The programme was conducted under the leadership of Col. (Red) Rahul Sharma, with institute officials stating that the event reflected NIFT Patna’s continued focus on innovation, academic excellence and industry-integrated learning.
International Partners And Academic Leaders Attend
The event was also attended by representatives of international academic partners and senior education officials, including:
