Patna: Rail passengers travelling between Bihar and Rajasthan are set to gain a new travel option with the launch of the Jaipur (Khatipura)-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Express, which will be flagged off by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on 21 June.
The new service will operate six days a week and is expected to improve connectivity between the two states, particularly for passengers travelling for employment, education, business and family-related purposes.
According to railway officials, the train will strengthen links between major population centres and provide an additional travel option on a route that witnesses significant passenger demand throughout the year.
New Link Between Two Important Regions
Jaipur is one of India’s leading tourism, industrial and cultural centres, while Darbhanga serves as an important educational and cultural hub of the Mithila region.
Railway officials said the new service is expected to facilitate the movement of people between the two regions while also encouraging greater economic and cultural exchanges.
