Patna: A new service of the Amrit Bharat Express has been introduced to improve rail connectivity between Jaipur and Darbhanga via Sitamarhi. The train will operate regularly from June 22, running six days a week, with an inaugural special service scheduled for June 21.
The new route is expected to ease long-distance travel between Rajasthan and Bihar’s Mithilanchal region, passing through key stations including Sitamarhi.

Train number 19725 will depart daily from Khatipura in Jaipur at 10:30 pm, except Fridays, starting June 22. In the return direction, train number 19726 will leave Darbhanga at 4:30 am, except Sundays, beginning June 23.
Railway officials said the service will operate six days a week on both directions, aiming to improve passenger convenience on a high-demand corridor.

The train will pass through Khatipura, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Agra, Tundla, Etawah, Kanpur, Gomti Nagar, Barabanki, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Bagaha, Narkatiaganj, Raxaul, Bairgania, Sitamarhi, Janakpur Road and Kamtaul before reaching Darbhanga.
The corridor strengthens connectivity across multiple states, linking western, central and eastern India through a single long-distance service operated under Indian Railways.
Distance and Travel Time
