Saharsa: Gyan Bindu director Roshan Anand on Wednesday made a series of serious allegations during the Tehravin ceremony of his younger brother, Prince Yadav, held in Saharsa. Speaking to media persons, he demanded an impartial investigation into what he described as a “suspicious death” and questioned both police action and the handling of his complaints.
Allegations Over Brother’s Death
Roshan Anand alleged that Prince Yadav died under suspicious circumstances in Nepal and claimed that the post-mortem report has not yet been made public.
He alleged that Faisal Khan, also known as Khan Sir, and R.S. Prasad, associated with Kisan Cold Storage, were responsible for his brother’s death. However, these allegations remain unverified and have not been substantiated by official findings.
He urged both the state and central governments to order a fair investigation to establish the facts surrounding the death.
Questions on Police Action
Roshan Anand also raised concerns over the police response in earlier cases linked to him, alleging that an FIR was registered against him and his brother based on media statements, leading to their arrest.
He claimed that he was taken into custody within hours of an incident involving a coaching institute on June 2, while his own complaints were not acted upon with similar urgency.
Complaint and Investigation Claims
He further alleged that his attempt to lodge an FIR regarding his brother’s death was not accepted by police. He said he is seeking only legal action based on his complaint and a transparent investigation into the matter.
Allegations on Medical Examination
Roshan Anand questioned the medical examination conducted at the time of his arrest, alleging that he was declared fit without proper testing despite having high blood pressure.
He demanded action against concerned officials, stating that due process was not followed.
Demand for Impartial Probe
Reiterating his stand, Roshan Anand said the matter requires an independent and impartial investigation so that clarity can emerge on all related claims.
He appealed to authorities to ensure that the investigation is conducted fairly and that all questions surrounding the case are addressed through legal process.
