Gaya: The Gaya district administration has issued a traffic advisory ahead of Vice President C P Radhakrishnan’s visit to the district on July 11, announcing temporary restrictions and diversions on several roads to facilitate VVIP movement.
According to the district administration, the traffic arrangements will remain in force from 8 am to 2 pm on July 11. Officials said the measures have been introduced to ensure security while minimising inconvenience to the public.
Restrictions On Key Routes
Under the advisory, the movement of heavy vehicles will be prohibited on the route from Manpur to the Bodh Gaya underpass via the bypass.
In addition, the entry of all types of vehicles will be restricted on the route connecting Khatkachak, BIPARD Gate No. 5, Airport Turn and Dhanawan Turn during the notified period.
Emergency Services Exempt
The traffic police said ambulances, fire brigade vehicles and other emergency service vehicles will remain exempt from all traffic restrictions and will be allowed to operate without interruption.
Administration Urges Public To Plan Travel
The district administration has advised commuters to avoid the affected routes during the restriction period and use alternative roads where possible.
Officials said the temporary traffic arrangements are intended to ensure the smooth conduct of the Vice President’s visit while maintaining public safety and traffic management.
