Gayaji: The Bihar government will organise a two-day training camp for all members of the Bihar Legislative Assembly at the Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD) in Gayaji on July 11 and 12. The district administration has intensified security and protocol arrangements following reports that Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan is likely to attend the event.
The orientation programme, being held after the formation of the 18th Bihar Legislative Assembly, aims to familiarise both newly elected and returning MLAs with legislative procedures, parliamentary practices and the functioning of the Assembly.
Senior Leaders Expected To Attend
According to information from the administrative headquarters, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan is expected to participate in the programme. Officials have begun implementing security and protocol measures in line with VIP visit guidelines.
Reports also indicate that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary are likely to attend the training camp. The participation of senior constitutional and political leaders has made the event one of the state’s key administrative gatherings this month.
Security And Traffic Arrangements Strengthened
The district administration has stepped up planning for security, traffic regulation and law and order during the two-day programme. A temporary police outpost will be established near the BIPARD campus to facilitate quick response and ensure smooth movement of participants and dignitaries.
Officials said coordination is underway among police, administrative and other departments to manage security and logistical requirements throughout the event.
Officials Review Preparations
On Wednesday, City DSP Dharmendra Bharti inspected the BIPARD campus to review preparations. The inspection covered security deployment, VIP movement plans and other operational arrangements.
Officials said preparations are being monitored regularly to ensure the programme is conducted safely and in accordance with established protocols.
