Patna: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will hold a coordination meeting in Patna on Friday to review the implementation of government schemes, strengthen organisational coordination and discuss development and security priorities across Bihar.

The meeting, convened by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, will be attended by district presidents, senior leaders, ministers and office-bearers of the alliance’s constituent parties.

Focus On Government-Organisation Coordination

According to party leaders, the meeting aims to strengthen coordination between the government and the organisation to improve the implementation of welfare and development schemes.

Discussions will focus on enhancing communication between the state leadership and district- and block-level units to ensure that government programmes are implemented more effectively.

District presidents are expected to present reports on development activities, local issues and public expectations from their respective districts.

The alliance will also review feedback received following recent political outreach and discuss ways to improve the delivery of government schemes based on local requirements.

Leaders said the discussions are intended to help formulate an action plan that reflects district-level priorities.

Review Of Rural Development

The meeting will also examine the implementation of schemes related to rural development, employment, infrastructure and agriculture.

According to party sources, discussions will include measures to improve administrative coordination and strengthen monitoring systems at the district and block levels to ensure timely delivery of government programmes.

Security issues concerning Bihar’s border districts are also expected to be discussed.

According to sources, the meeting may review recent directions issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs regarding enhanced surveillance to curb infiltration and smuggling, along with measures to strengthen administrative vigilance in border areas.

Integrated Approach To Development And Governance

The NDA is expected to discuss a coordinated strategy that combines development, governance and security priorities.

Party leaders said future organisational and governance priorities would be shaped by feedback from district-level representatives, with an emphasis on improving monitoring, accountability and implementation of government schemes.
