Patna: The electricity distribution company has announced a scheduled power outage in parts of Patna on Wednesday (August 5) to facilitate ongoing project work on two 11kV feeders.
Consumers have been advised to complete essential work in advance, as electricity supply will remain suspended for several hours in the affected areas.
Shahpur, Daudpur Among Areas Affected
In the first phase, power supply from the 11kV Rural Feeder operated by the Anand Bazar power sub-station will remain suspended from 11 am to 2 pm.
Areas likely to be affected include:
- Shahpur
- Daudpur
- Defence Colony
The shutdown has been scheduled to enable project-related works on the feeder.
Boring Road Areas To Face Two-Hour Outage
In the second phase, power supply from the 11kV Boring Road Petrol Pump Feeder, operated by the Urja Bhawan power sub-station, will remain suspended from 11 am to 1 pm.
The outage will affect consumers in:
- Kavi Raman Path
- Anand Apartment
- Priyadarshi Apartment
Supply To Resume After Work
The power utility said electricity supply would be restored immediately after the completion of the scheduled work.
However, officials noted that the duration of the shutdown may be extended or reduced depending on the progress of the project. Consumers have been requested to cooperate with the maintenance work and take necessary precautions during the scheduled outage.
