Patna: The Bihar government has posted 783 new healthcare staff members to government hospitals across the state following recommendations from the Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC).
The appointments include 683 OT Assistants and 100 ECG Technicians. All appointees have been directed to report to their respective institutions and assume duty within one month.
OT Assistants Posted Across Hospitals
Of the 683 OT Assistants, 124 are women and 559 are men. They have been assigned to various government hospitals, including major medical institutions in the state.
The postings include 16 OT Assistants at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), 12 at ANMMCH in Gaya, 11 at Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), and 20 at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital (JLNMCH), Bhagalpur. The remaining personnel have been posted to other government hospitals.
ECG Technicians Assigned To Key Centres
The 100 ECG Technicians comprise 42 women and 58 men. They have been posted to hospitals and specialised cardiac facilities across Bihar.
The allocations include 15 technicians at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology in Patna, six at PMCH, four at Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital in Muzaffarpur, and others at DMCH and other institutions.
The new appointments are expected to strengthen operating theatre support and ECG testing services in government hospitals.
Certificate Verification
The appointed staff must report for duty within one month with their original academic and other required certificates.
The Superintendent or Superintendent-cum-Chief Medical Officer of the respective institution will verify the documents. The certificates will subsequently be verified with the issuing institutions within three months, after which a report will be submitted to the Health Department.
