Patna: A free health check-up camp was organised at Vidyut Bhawan in Patna on Friday as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS-2026) campaign, being conducted under the theme “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat.”
Officials and employees of Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited (BSPHCL) and its subsidiary companies participated in the camp along with sanitation workers engaged through agencies.
The participating organisations included North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (NBPDCL), South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL), Bihar State Power Transmission Company Limited (BSPTCL) and Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL).
ECG, Blood And Eye Check-Ups Conducted
During the health camp, ECG, blood tests and blood pressure checks were conducted for 94 personnel.
An additional 131 personnel underwent eye check-ups at the camp.
The initiative provided employees and sanitation workers with access to basic health screening as part of the activities being conducted under the cleanliness campaign.
Focus On Health Awareness
The company said that alongside maintaining a clean and healthy work environment, an important objective of the campaign is to promote health awareness among employees and workers.
The health camp formed part of the broader activities under Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, linking workplace cleanliness and hygiene with awareness about personal health and well-being.
