Patna: Air India Express has cancelled its Delhi-Patna-Delhi flights IX1346 and IX1348 from September 24 to September 30, 2026, citing operational reasons.

The airline informed Patna Airport authorities about the cancellation, which covers the scheduled services on the route during the seven-day period.

The airline has not provided further details about the specific operational issue behind the cancellation.

Which Flights Are Affected?

The affected services are:

  • IX1346 — Delhi to Patna
  • IX1348 — Patna to Delhi

Both flights are part of the Delhi-Patna-Delhi route and will remain cancelled from September 24 through September 30.

The latest announcement follows an earlier cancellation of IX1348 on September 21 and 22, which was also attributed to operational reasons. The flight was scheduled to depart Patna at 7:15 am on both days.

Passengers Advised To Check Flight Status

Passengers who have booked either of the affected flights during the cancellation period have been advised to check their latest flight status before travelling to the airport.

They should also contact Air India Express regarding their booking and any available travel alternatives.

As of September 22, details about alternative flights, rescheduling or refunds had not been provided in the information shared with Patna Airport authorities.

Check Before Leaving For The Airport

The cancellation currently covers September 24 to September 30, making it important for passengers travelling between Delhi and Patna during this period to verify their booking status in advance.

The airline has cited operational requirements for the cancellations, but no specific reason for the disruption has been publicly disclosed so far. Further updates on affected passengers and travel arrangements are awaited.
