Patna: A case alleging criminal intimidation and death threats has been registered before a court in Patna against Tej Pratap Yadav following a complaint filed by Akash Yadav.
The complaint also names an individual who allegedly claimed to be associated with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi during a phone call made to the complainant.
Complaint Filed After Police Inaction
According to court records cited by the complainant, Akash Yadav first submitted a written complaint at the Patliputra police station on June 10. He alleged that no FIR was registered despite the seriousness of the allegations.
Following the alleged lack of police action, Akash Yadav approached the Patna Civil Court on June 17 seeking judicial intervention. The court subsequently registered the matter and initiated proceedings.
Allegation of Attempted Forced Entry
In his complaint, Akash Yadav alleged that on June 6, Tej Pratap Yadav arrived at his residence in Patna’s Patliputra locality along with an associate identified as Moti Lal Yadav.
The complainant stated that he was away from home at the time, having travelled to Khatu Shyam. He alleged that during his absence, the accused attempted to forcibly enter the house and threatened family members present there.
Claim of Phone Threats
Akash Yadav further alleged that he later received threatening phone calls. According to the complaint, one call came through Moti Lal Yadav, after which another caller identified himself as “Mohit” and claimed links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The complainant alleged that the caller warned him against speaking against the political leader named in the complaint.
Call Recording Submitted
Akash Yadav has claimed that he possesses an audio recording of the alleged threatening call. The recording has been submitted before the court as supporting evidence.
The allegations are currently under judicial consideration. The court is expected to examine the complaint and supporting materials before deciding on further proceedings. No response from Tej Pratap Yadav or his representatives was available at the time of publication.
