Patna/Araria: Ashutosh Kumar Jha, a singer and composer from Dumariya village in Bihar’s Araria district, is preparing to release a new Maithili song titled Meeth-Meeth Message, marking a fresh attempt to connect younger listeners with the region’s language and culture through contemporary music.

A Journey From Araria to Mumbai
Ashutosh Kumar Jha is a resident of Dumariya village in the Forbesganj block of Araria district. According to people familiar with his career, he moved to Mumbai to pursue opportunities in the music industry after completing his education in Bihar and later in Delhi.
His parents, Bhagwan Jha and Rani Jha, encouraged his interest in music from an early age, while his initial musical training came from his grandfather and teacher, Vasukinath Jha.
Education and Entry Into Bollywood
After completing his schooling in Dumariya and Forbesganj, Jha studied at Hindu College, University of Delhi, where he continued developing his musical skills.
A significant break came when singer and composer Himesh Reshammiya gave him an opportunity to sing Aarzoo Teri under his music direction. The track helped Jha gain wider recognition within the Bollywood music circuit.
