Patna: The encounter involving Bharat Tiwari in Bihar’s Bhojpur district has triggered political and public debate, with differing accounts emerging from his family and the police. Mother Alleges Link to Rs 1,400 Crore Irregularities
Bharat Tiwari’s mother, Asha Tiwari, has alleged that her son’s death was not an encounter but a “planned killing” linked to his alleged knowledge of a Rs 1,400 crore scam.
She claimed that the irregularities were connected to development funds meant for Javaniya village, including housing for the poor and land-filling work, which she alleged were misused. She further stated that officials involved in the matter should face the death penalty if found guilty.
