Patna: Political activity has intensified in Bihar ahead of a special session of the state assembly scheduled for April 24, where chief minister Samrat Choudhary will seek to prove his government’s majority.
The one-day sitting of the 18th Bihar Legislative Assembly is expected to be a crucial test for the newly formed government following recent political realignments in the state.
Confidence Motion On Agenda
According to an official communication issued by the Bihar Legislative Assembly Secretariat, the primary agenda of the session will be the tabling of a motion of confidence by the government.
The session will begin at 11am at the Assembly building in Patna, with all ministers and members of the legislative assembly directed to be present.
