Districts including Patna, Gaya, Aurangabad, Kaimur, Rohtas, Buxar and Nawada are expected to remain particularly affected, with daytime temperatures hovering around 40°C or higher.
Authorities said precautionary measures would be necessary as prolonged exposure to extreme heat could pose health risks, especially for children and the elderly.
