Patna: The 100th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be celebrated in Bihar on December 25 as ‘Good Governance Day’ with several events at the BJP state office. These programs will kick off a year-long series of celebrations to honor the former Prime Minister’s legacy.
BJP state general secretary Mithilesh Tiwari shared that the celebration will begin with an exhibition highlighting Vajpayee’s contributions and personality. An Atal Samman Samaroh will also be held to honor his immense impact on the nation.
In addition, a Kavyanjali will be organized, where local poets will recite poems dedicated to Vajpayee, acknowledging his poetic spirit. State president Dr. Dilip Jaiswal and other prominent figures will attend the events, including a padyatra, to further commemorate his life and work.
