Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is set to announce the results of the Intermediate Annual Examination 2026 on Monday, ending the wait for millions of students across the state.
Board chairman Anand Kishor confirmed that the results will be declared at 1:30pm in the presence of education minister Sunil Kumar and additional chief secretary B Rajender.
This year, results for all three streams – Science, Commerce and Arts – will be released simultaneously, allowing students to access their scores at the same time. Officials said the move is aimed at improving convenience and streamlining the process.
A large number of candidates appeared for the examination, and heavy traffic is expected on official websites immediately after the results are announced. Students have been advised to remain patient if there are delays in accessing their scores.
Results will be available online on the official websites interbiharboard.com and bsebexam.com. Students can check their scores by entering their roll number and roll code.
The board has urged candidates to rely only on official platforms and to remain cautious of fake websites and misinformation.
BSEB has once again positioned itself among the fastest boards in the country to release Class 12 results. Officials attribute this to improved planning and a more efficient evaluation process, which has helped reduce timelines in recent years.
Following the announcement, students will begin planning their next steps. Science stream candidates are expected to prepare for engineering and medical entrance exams, while commerce and arts students will explore professional courses and competitive examinations.
The board has also highlighted that options for re-evaluation and improvement will be available for students who are not satisfied with their marks.
Students have been advised to remain calm, avoid rumours and seek updates only through official sources. Original mark sheets will be distributed later through respective schools.
