The application process is linked to the MedhaSoft portal, where eligible students are required to complete registration and provide their academic and banking details.

Class 10 Pass Students Can Get Up to Rs10,000

Under the Mukhyamantri Balak/Balika Protsahan Yojana, eligible students who have passed the Bihar Board Class 10 examination can receive financial assistance.

Students securing the prescribed division may be eligible for an incentive of Rs10,000, while the applicable amount can vary according to the category and division under the relevant scheme.

Class 12 Pass Students to Receive Up to Rs25,000

For Class 12 students, financial assistance is available under schemes including the Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana.

Eligible female students who have passed the Bihar Board Intermediate examination can receive up to Rs25,000 under the applicable incentive scheme. Reports on the 2026 application process state that the amount is linked to the student’s eligibility and prescribed criteria.

Application Through MedhaSoft Portal

Students applying for the relevant Bihar government scholarship schemes need to complete the registration process online.

The application generally requires details such as:

  • Bihar Board marksheet
  • Bank account details/passbook
