Samastipur: The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has entered the Bihar Assembly election campaign with the slogans “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” and “Bihar First, Bihari First.” On Sunday, party national president and Union Minister Chirag Paswan addressed a massive public meeting at the Market Committee Ground in Dalsinghsarai, appealing to voters to ensure the victory of NDA candidates in the region.
Paswan said that the development of Bihar remains a top priority for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. “Together, they have taken Bihar to new heights of progress. The NDA government has implemented several welfare schemes for women, the elderly, and youth, ensuring benefits reach every section of society,” he told the gathering.
Sharing the stage with NDA leaders and candidates, Paswan urged people to strengthen the hands of the alliance for continued development across the state.
Joining him at the rally, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said this election would decide the future of Bihar. “The candidate who wins from Ujiarpur will pave the way for the region’s development. The NDA government is working to provide employment to 10 million youth in Bihar. The state is transforming fast and will soon emerge as a leader in the country,” he said.
Fadnavis also highlighted his connection with Bihar, recalling how he celebrated Chhath Puja along with the Bihari community at Mumbai’s Chowpatty. He appealed to voters to support NDA candidate Prashant Pankaj from Ujiarpur for sustained progress.
Addressing women in the crowd, Samastipur MP Shambhavi Chaudhary said, “The Bihar of two decades ago no longer exists. Women are now safe, empowered, and confident. The vision of a developed Bihar is achievable only through the victory of NDA candidates.”
The rally saw a large turnout of local residents and party supporters. The meeting was chaired by LJP (R) district president Anupam Kumar Singh and conducted by JDU Ujiarpur block president Krishnadev Rai.
Several NDA alliance leaders—including Rashtriya Lok Morcha district president Vinod Chaudhary Nishad, HAM district president Dheeraj Thakur, BJP election manager Ram Dular Chaurasia, and BJP district general secretary Lalan Singh—also addressed the gathering, urging people to vote for Ujiarpur candidate Prashant Pankaj and Vibhutipur candidate Raveena Kushwaha.
