The recruitment is primarily targeted at serving members of the Bihar Home Guards who have completed at least five years of service. Successful candidates will be placed in Level-4 pay scale positions, marking a notable promotional pathway within the organisation.
Applicants must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination. The age requirement has been set between 24 and 50 years as of August 1, 2025. The application fee has been fixed at Rs 100 across all categories, including women and third-gender applicants. The commission has cautioned candidates to ensure all details are entered correctly, warning that inaccurate information may lead to cancellation of candidature.
